An Art Deco 18 karat (18K) yellow gold charm pendant designed as the symbol for the Air Force, being a pair of wings with a crown above and a face below (possibly of Medusa - two locks closely resemble snakes). The letters FIM below the crown in blue enamel. The pendant is extremely finely detailed and well made. The reverse features the date 14-1-933 and the number XI (11) in raised script, and is signed F. Chiappe and marked 750 for 18 karat gold.
