A smart pair of cufflinks by the French house Marchak, set with two octahedral cylinders of bloodstone quartz (a variety of chalcedony agate) with twisted gold wires. The bloodstone shows good coloration of red specks on a dark green ground.
The cufflinks are signed Marchak and stamped with the eagle’s head for French manufacture and 18 karat gold. French circa 1960.
