A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold pendant designed as a round medal depicting Jesus Christ holding the Sacred Heart with the phrase 'Voici Le Coeur Qui A Tant Aime Les Hommes' (Behold This Heart Which Has So Loved Men). The reverse depicts the crowned Madonna and Child with scapular pendants, with the phrase 'N.D. (Notre Dame) Du Mont Carmel P.P.N (Priez Pour Nous)' (Our Lady of Mount Carmel Pray for Us). Signed L.O.Monier to both sides. Stamped with the eagle's head mark for 18 karat gold and French manufacture.
