An 18 karat (18K) yellow gold pendant designed as an oval medal depicting the Virgin Mary with a radiating halo and a faceted radiating surround. Signed Cardot. Stamped with the eagle’s head for French manufacture and 18 karat gold with maker's mark for Perriat. Engraved to the reverse with the name 'Laurent' and the date 12-7-75.
