A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold love charm pendant designed as anoval with a rebus spelling out "Plus qu'hier, moins que demain" ("More than yesterday, less than tomorrow") - a line taken from the love poem written by Rosemonde Gerard to her husband (the author of Cyrano) in 1889.
The word "plus" is symbolised by a plus sign, and the word "moins" by a minus sign in ridged polished gold on a matt gold ground, the words engraved.
Stamped with Augis' maker's mark and the eagle's head for French manufacture and 18 karat gold.
Dimensions: 2.1 x 1.3 x 0.05 cm (not including jump ring)
Weight: 1.20 grams
(Chain not included)
