A French 18 karat (18K) gold charm pendant designed as a scalloped round yellow gold medal depicting an engraved holy chalice or goblet with a communion wafer above, radiating light to celebrate a First Communion. The chalice is next to a sheaf of wheat to symbolise the bread of the communion and a grapevine to symbolise the communion wine. The reverse is engraved with the initials MJ as a monogram. Tested for 18 karat gold and stamped with a partial unknown maker's mark.
