A French rolled 18K (18 karat) yellow gold charm pendant depicting the Virgin Mary in profile with a halo. Rolled gold is a 'sandwich' of copper between two thin plates of gold which is compressed to the required thickness before being stamped into the form of the jewel. Stamped FIX to the base of the pendant. Engraved to the reverse with the name 'Denise Frey' and the date 18-5-1913.
