A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold charm pendant designed as a round medal with a relief of the Madonna and Child surrounded by clouds, with the Latin motto 'MATER DEI ORA PRO NOBIS' (Mother of God pray for us) above. The reverse depicting a branch of roses with an engraved monogram CG and the date '23 Aout 1922'. Stamped with the eagle's head for minimum 18 karat gold and French manufacture, along with an incomplete maker's mark.
