A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold pendant designed as an antique half locket engraved with a love heart and floral motifs mounted to a sunburst frame with filigree rays, interspaced with ten round-cut emeralds, a further emerald set to the pendant bail. Stamped with the eagle's head mark for 18 karat gold and French manufacture, along with an unknown maker's mark. The reverse of the medal numbered 98515.
