A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold pendant with a central circular plaque depicting Cupid with his quiver of arrows to the front, the reverse showing a butterfly on roses to symbolise the transitory nature of life, the whole giving the message that life is short so you should seize love when it comes.
The plaque is surrounded by two openwork gold hearts, transfixed by a diamond-set Cupid’s arrow, surmounted by the flames of love. Diamond content: One old mine cut diamond weighing approximately 0.10 carats, 11 rose cut diamonds with a total weight of approximately 0.11 carats.
