A French rolled 18K (18 karat) yellow gold Art Deco charm pendant depicting the Virgin Mary in profile with a halo, with a geometric and floral frame. Rolled gold is a 'sandwich' of copper between two thin plates of gold which is compressed to the required thickness before being stamped into the form of the jewel. Stamped FIX to the bail of the pendant. Engraved to the reverse with the name 'Janine' and the date 20 Juin 1935.
