An antique French 18 karat (18K) yellow and rose gold charm pendant or medal depicting the Virgin Mary within an asymmetrical frame of flowers and leaves. Stamped with the horse’s head mark for 18 karat gold and French manufacture between 1838-1919. The reverse engraved with the monogram MM and the date 26 Mai 98 (for 1898).
