An antique French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold pendant designed as a medal depicting the Virgin Mary with plique-a-jour enamel within an openwork gold frame set with 36 natural seed pearls. Engraved with the date 20 Juin 1915 to the bottom edge of the pendant. Unmarked but tested for 18 karat gold.
