An antique French 18 karat (18K) rose gold charm pendant designed as an early oval miraculous medal depicting the Virgin Mary with radiating light coming from her hands standing upon a snake circling the globe. The reverse engraved with the initials 'MD' and the date 24 Avril 1888. Stamped with the eagle's head mark for 18 karat gold and French manufacture.
