A French 18 karat (18K) gold charm pendant designed as an oval yellow gold medal depicting a holy chalice or goblet with a communion wafer above, radiating light to celebrate a First Communion. The chalice is surmounted with a floral motifs in yellow, rose and green gold with similar decorations to the pendant bail. The reverse is engraved with the monogram GR/RG and the date '17 Juillet 1935'. Stamped with the eagle’s head for French manufacture and 18 karat gold and an unknown maker's mark.
