An elegant French Art Deco ring in platinum set with natural white saltwater pearls and diamond accents. The slim shank meets the top of the ring with fleur-de-lis shoulders and is marked with the French import stamp for platinum.
The ring is set with 19 natural pearls ranging from 1.5mm to 7mm in diameter, and 8 single-cut diamonds with a total approximate weight of 0.10 carats.
UK finger size M.5, US size 6.5, overall height 2.9cm.
The design of this ring reflects the rise of Art Moderne at the end of the Art Deco period in its geometric design with strong lines and architectural motifs. It is softened by the curves of the pearls but maintains the monochromatic colour scheme for which the Deco period was known.
Accompanied by Certificate #10199 from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory dated 18th July 2014 stating that the largest button-shaped pearl measuring 6.8-7.0 x 6.5mm weighing 2.35cts is a natural saltwater pearl.
