An 18 carat yellow gold French bombe ring centring an oval unheated ruby surrounded by pave-set round brilliant cut diamonds.
The natural, untreated ruby is estimated to weigh 1.60 carats, and we believe it to have come from Madagascar. The 58 diamonds have a total estimated weight of 4.10 carats and are bright and lively.
The shank of the ring is stamped with the eagle’s head poinçon for 18 carat gold and French manufacture, with the maker's mark Ste D for Dupeguy of Paris.
