A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold-plated, diamond and ruby love charm pendant with a rebus spelling out "Plus qu'hier, moins que demain" ("More than yesterday, less than tomorrow") - a line taken from the love poem written by Rosemonde Gerard to her husband (the author of Cyrano) in 1889.
The word "plus" is symbolised by a plus sign set with five rose cut white diamonds with a total approximate weight of 0.05 carats, and the word "moins" by a minus sign set with three rectangular cut synthetic rubies with a total carat weight of approximately 0.09 carats.
Signed A.Augis, and marked Cuivre 10B to the reverse to indicate that the base metal is copper and that the pendant is gold-plated.
Dimensions: 3.2 x 2.8 x 0.25 cm (not including jump ring)
Weight: 7.97 grams
(Chain not included)
